This project involves creating a solar-powered river cleaning boat designed to remove waste from water bodies efficiently. The boat utilizes a solar panel to charge a rechargeable battery, which powers BO geared motors. These motors drive the boat and its cleaning mechanism, constructed from corrugated sheet, cans, and jute material, to collect and remove debris from the river.

Components Description:

Solar Panel

  • Converts sunlight into electrical energy to charge the rechargeable battery.

Rechargeable Battery

  • Stores the electrical energy generated by the solar panel and provides power to the motors.

Push Button

  • Allows manual control to start and stop the boat, connecting the battery to the motors.

BO Geared Motors

  • Provides propulsion for the boat and drives the cleaning mechanism, efficiently converting electrical energy into mechanical motion.

Corrugated Sheet

  • Used to construct the boat’s body, ensuring it is lightweight, durable, and buoyant.

Cans

  • Act as flotation devices, helping the boat to stay afloat, and can also be used to help collect debris from the water.

Jute Material

  • Forms nets or filters to trap and collect floating debris and waste, ensuring effective cleaning of the river.

Connecting Wires

  • Used to connect the electrical components, ensuring proper circuit connections between the solar panel, battery, push button, and motors.

Circuit Connection Steps

Connecting the Solar Panel:

  1. Connect the positive terminal of the solar panel to the positive terminal of the rechargeable battery.
  2. Connect the negative terminal of the solar panel to the negative terminal of the rechargeable battery.

Wiring the Push Button:

  1. Connect one side of the push button to the positive terminal of the rechargeable battery.

Wiring the Motors:

  1. From the other side of the push button, connect a wire to the positive terminal of Motor 1.
  2. From the positive terminal of Motor 1, connect a wire to the positive terminal of Motor 2.
  3. Connect the negative terminal of Motor 1 to the negative terminal of the battery.
  4. Connect the negative terminal of Motor 2 to the negative terminal of the battery.

Ensuring Correct Connections:

  1. Verify that all connections match the layout shown in the image.
  2. Ensure that all positive and negative terminals are correctly connected to avoid short circuits.

Final Check

  • Test the circuit by pressing the push button.
  • Both motors should run when the push button is pressed, indicating correct circuit connections.
