U-turn Safety System

The U-turn Safety System project utilizes LEDs, a 12V battery, a buzzer, and jumper wires to signal vehicle presence on speed breakers. It operates with open and closed circuits, enhancing safety by alerting drivers during U-turns near speed breakers.

The U-turn Safety System project aims to improve road safety by signaling vehicle presence near speed breakers during U-turns. It employs an LED and buzzer mechanism powered by a 12V battery to provide both visual and auditory alerts. When a vehicle approaches a speed breaker, the system activates using an open and close circuit concept, triggering the LED to light up and the buzzer to sound. This alerts drivers and pedestrians of nearby vehicles, reducing collision risks during U-turns.

Components List:

1. LED

2. 12V Battery

3. Buzzer

4. Jumper Wires

5. Speed Breaker

6. Open/Close Circuit

When a vehicle approaches a speed breaker, the system detects the presence of the vehicle, closing the circuit. This action enables the flow of electricity from the 12V battery to the LED and buzzer. The LED lights up, providing a visual indication to nearby drivers and pedestrians, while the buzzer emits a loud sound as an auditory warning. Together, these alerts help signal the potential movement of vehicles, reducing the risk of collisions during U-turns in busy areas.

When no vehicle is present near the speed breaker, the circuit remains open, keeping the system inactive to conserve power and avoid unnecessary alerts. The simplicity of the open and close circuit design makes this system easy to implement and cost-effective. The U-turn Safety System can be particularly useful in areas with high traffic or limited visibility, where U-turns near speed breakers pose a significant safety concern.
