3D PRINTING

A 3D printer is a device that creates three-dimensional objects by depositing successive layers of material, such as PLA, based on a digital model.

Tinkercad, a user-friendly web-based 3D modeling tool, allows you to create detailed designs with ease, while Cura, a powerful slicing software, enables you to prepare your design for printing with precision and efficiency.

Tinkercad provides a range of tools for shaping, resizing, and combining primitive shapes to create more complex geometries.

Once your design is complete, you can export it in a compatible file format, such as STL or OBJ, ready for slicing in Cura. Cura, developed by Ultimaker, is a widely-used slicing software that translates your 3D model into a series of instructions (G-code) that the printer can understand.

Cura provides a preview of the sliced model, allowing you to inspect each layer. You’ll save the G-code file to an SD card or transfer it directly to your 3D printer, ready for printing.
