OLD SCHOOL SIGNALLING SYSTEM

This project involves creating an automated school bell system using a 9V battery, a breadboard, jumper wires, a DC motor, a voltage regulator, and an IR sensor. The system mimics the traditional school bell, where the bell rings when a hand is placed near the IR sensor. The IR sensor detects the presence of the hand and activates the DC motor, which rotates and causes a steel ball attached to a string to strike a hollow bell, producing a sound.

Project Description:

Old School Signalling System project is about making an automatic school bell system. We use a 9V battery, a breadboard, jumper wires, a DC motor, a voltage regulator, and an IR sensor. The system works like a traditional school bell. When you place your hand near the IR sensor, it detects the hand and turns on the DC motor. The motor spins and makes a steel ball on a string hit a hollow bell, producing a sound. This hands-free bell system is convenient and hygienic. It’s a great educational project for students to learn about sensors and motor control using basic electronic parts.
